Systematic Market Participation Built Around Process, Momentum & Structure

Mastering Strategic Patience

Markets are rarely short of movement. What is rare is knowing which movement matters. Strength announces itself while leadership takes time to establish.

And between the two lies the part most often overlooked — the waiting.

The strongest opportunities do not always demand immediate action. Sometimes they demand observation. A leader advances, the market pauses, conviction is tested, excess is released, and structure begins to form again.

This is where patience becomes more than waiting. It becomes discipline.

The discipline is not in reacting to every movement, but in understanding what is changing beneath it — recognising strength before it becomes obvious, watching leadership establish itself, and remaining patient while the market reveals its intent.

And when the structure is right, the opportunity is no longer about prediction. It is about recognising what the market has already revealed and acting with conviction.

At Diraa Capital, our guiding principle is simple:

Observe without urgency. Prepare without assumption. Act when the evidence is decisive.

Diraa Capital is an independent equity research platform operated under the proprietorship of Mr. Chandrashekhar Dhone, a SEBI Registered Research Analyst, applying structured research frameworks around market leadership, relative strength, market structure, and disciplined participation across evolving market cycles.

Diraa means direction in Swahili, aligning with the Sanskrit "Dheer" (धीर) — representing patience, steadiness, thoughtful action, and disciplined progression.

The Mind behind the Process

Meet The Principal Analyst

Led by our Principal Analyst, Diraa Capital combines business insight, sector understanding, and systematic market research to develop disciplined investment frameworks.

He holds an MBA from the University of Wales and has built a professional career spanning entrepreneurship, strategy & business consulting, and investment research across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. This experience has provided broad exposure to diverse industries, business environments, and evolving economic and market cycles.

His investment research experience further strengthened this foundation through company analysis, market assessment, and strategic evaluation.

To complement this business perspective with a systematic market approach, he completed the Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading (EPAT), incorporating quantitative methods, market structure, relative strength, and rule-based decision frameworks into his investment process.

The research methodology at Diraa Capital is built to reduce subjective decision-making through structured, repeatable investment frameworks. By integrating business fundamentals, sector leadership, quantitative evidence, market structure, and relative strength analysis, the objective is to identify companies demonstrating institutional leadership while maintaining a process-driven approach to market participation across changing market environments.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore comprehensive answers regarding our platform, methodology, and subscriptions.

1. Identity & smallcase Ecosystem
Q1: What is Diraa Capital?

Diraa Capital is an equity research platform led by a SEBI Registered Research Analyst focused on systematic frameworks built around market leadership, relative strength, and structured opportunities. We build data-driven models to help investors participate in market trends cleanly.

Q2: What is a smallcase and how does it work?

A smallcase is a modern investment product that represents a curated basket of stocks or ETFs configured to reflect our research frameworks. By syncing your existing broker profile to smallcase, you can purchase or rebalance an entire portfolio in a seamless action.

Q3: Does Diraa Capital take custody of my assets or capital?

No, absolutely not. Diraa Capital functions strictly as a research intermediary. Your funds, stocks, and cash always remain securely inside your personal Demat/trading account with your respective linked broker. We have no ability to hold or touch your money.

Q4: Who can subscribe to and participate in these models?

Any market participant holding an active Demat and trading account with major integrated Indian brokerages (such as Zerodha, Dhan, Groww, Angel One, Upstox, etc.) can subscribe and gain instant access to our standardized research baskets.

2. Investment Philosophy & Risk Discipline
Q5: What makes your investment methodology quant-oriented?

Our methodology operates entirely on structured, rules-based criteria. Rather than relying on gut feeling, we utilize quantitative data fields—such as momentum factor screening, price trend metrics, relative strength matrices, and volume reset behaviors—to verify every update.

Q6: Why do you advocate "Process Over Prediction"?

Markets are inherently unpredictable. Trying to guess short-term macro bottoms or tops leads to inconsistent execution. By building a repeatable, disciplined process around structural data evidence, we seek to generate consistent decisions across changing regimes.

Q7: How do your models handle severe market corrections?

Risk discipline is native to all five research frameworks. The screening systems observe volatility levels and breakdown alerts. If specific market leadership anchors begin cracking, predefined risk parameters prompt our models to dynamically scale down beta or cycle into safety structures.

Q8: Are these frameworks appropriate for a conservative capital profile?

While models like Vector Swing and Thematic are tailored toward equity momentum, our newly deployed framework, Vector Anchor, specifically prioritizes risk management and income-oriented exposure using diversified debt, corporate bond profiles, REITs, and corporate InvITs.

3. Operational Procedures & Trade Execution
Q9: What is a portfolio rebalance update, and how do I execute it?

A rebalance is an architectural update where our model portfolio aligns its asset distribution to fresh technical evidence. Subscribers receive a ping on the smallcase application; clicking that prompt instantly maps and orders the trades directly within your broker console.

Q10: Can I implement a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP)?

Yes. Automated or manually scheduled SIP configurations are fully native inside our systems. You can set specific frequencies (weekly, monthly, or customized milestones) to add capital directly to your active Vector baskets while maintaining our exact framework percentages.

Q11: How are corporate dividends and stock splits routed?

Because you own the underlying securities directly, any incoming corporate actions are fully transparent. Corporate dividends are deposited immediately by the company clearing house into your linked banking account. Stock splits or bonuses apply straight to your Demat profile.

Q12: Do I have to stay glued to terminal monitors all day?

No. Because our quantitative matrices operate on fixed timeline resets (weekly, monthly, or quarterly windows depending on the chosen model portfolio), there is no high-frequency intraday stress. You only log in to process actionable adjustments when rebalance notifications drop.

4. Subscriptions, Fees, & Accounts
Q13: Why does Diraa Capital use a transparent flat-fee model?

Traditional percentage-based asset management models penalize growth. By offering a transparent, fixed-rate flat subscription, we ensure that as your overall deployment capital expands over time, your raw performance yields are never chewed away by scalable advisory cuts.

Q14: What happens to my shares if I cancel my subscription access?

You retain absolute, unbroken ownership of 100% of your holdings. If a subscription is discontinued, upcoming live rebalancing alerts and regime switches will simply freeze, but you remain fully free to sit on the current stock pool or sell them independently via your broker terminal.

Q15: Are there hidden advisory commissions or rebalancing transaction taxes?

There are zero hidden commissions or retroactive performance costs. Standard statutory brokerage charges, STT, and capital gains taxes (STCG/LTCG) will occur naturally whenever securities are rotated or cleared during rebalances, according to Indian fiscal frameworks.

Q: Is there a refund policy?

We do not offer refunds on active subscriptions. You will continue to receive all applicable updates to your subscribed model portfolio for the remainder of your subscription period. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals; cancellation will not affect your access to the subscribed service until the end of the current subscription period.
